Here’s how to clear browser cache in some of the most popular browsers:
Google Chrome:
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window
- Select “More tools” from the drop-down menu
- Click “Clear browsing data”
- Select “Cached images and files” and any other data you want to remove
- Click “Clear data”
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of the Firefox window
- Select “Options”
- Click “Privacy & Security” on the left side of the page
- Scroll down to the “Cached Web Content” section
- Click “Clear Now”
Apple Safari:
- Click “Safari” in the upper-left corner of the screen
- Select “Clear History and Website Data”
- Choose the desired time range and click “Clear History”
Microsoft Edge:
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Edge window
- Select “Settings”
- Click “Privacy & security”
- Scroll down to the “Clear browsing data” section
- Click “Choose what to clear”
- Select “Cached data and files” and any other data you want to remove
- Click “Clear now”
